As Co-Chief Information Officer, John Cho brings 25 years of mission-focused thought leadership to his role, driving technology strategy, product roadmaps, innovation, and the implementation of automation, AI, and cybersecurity across the EdgeConneX enterprise.
Before joining EdgeConneX, John was the CTO for Tria Federal. John was focused on M&A, launching Tria Labs, and driving strategy in a post-Generative-AI world where domain knowledge has shifted the landscape from data-driven technologies to knowledge-driven solutions. Before that, Cho served as Vice President, Digital Platforms, Services & Technology and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at RRAI, a provider of autonomous driving solutions. Previously, he was CTO for billion-dollar business sectors at Peraton and Perspecta. He also previously served in senior technology leadership roles at DXC Technology, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), HP, and EDS.
Cho was a former research fellow at the Department of Energy’s Argonne National Laboratory on superconductivity. He received his B.S. in biochemical engineering from New Mexico State University, with a minor in mathematics. He has patents pending in analytics, computer vision, energy, and robotics.
