Mr. Theunissen brings more than 25 years of expertise in data centers, hosting and cloud services, and telecommunications. Since joining EdgeConneX in 2014, Dick has successfully developed the company’s business across the EMEA region from its inception. Before his role at EdgeConneX, he was the Chief Marketing Officer for EMEA at Equinix and previously served as Chief Marketing Officer at Interxion.
Dick has also held senior management positions at VIA NET.WORKS, KPNQwest, and KPN in several European countries. He earned his MS in Business Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
