Mr. Moghbel is a Partner, Co-Founder and Co-CIO of Sixth Street based in San Francisco. He oversees the Sixth Street Global Opportunities platform, which is the firm’s versatile global investing unit focused on large-scale capital solutions opportunities. Mr. Moghbel is responsible for Sixth Street’s dedicated sector teams across agriculture, consumer, energy, healthcare and life sciences, media and entertainment, sports, and telecom, as well as the firm’s public markets business. In 2011, Mr. Moghbel established the firm’s presence in Europe before returning to the United States in 2016. Prior to co-founding Sixth Street in 2009, Mr. Moghbel worked at Silver Point Capital and he began his career in the Financial Sponsors Group at UBS Investment Bank. He received a B.A. in Economics, with high honors, and a minor in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley.
