Lisa Youngers is the Head of Public Policy and External Affairs for EdgeConneX. With over 20+ years of experience in the technology, telecommunications, and infrastructure sectors, Lisa has advised on data center issues, international litigation, M&A, artificial intelligence, IP, and energy. She is a trusted regulatory compliance expert passionate about advocating emerging technologies.
Before joining EdgeConneX, Lisa served as International General Counsel for Tata Communications, President and CEO of the Fiber Broadband Association, and CEO of NextLink Wireless. In addition, Lisa served as Vice President of Federal Regulatory Affairs and Strategy for XO Communications.
Throughout her career, she has pursued various interests at the global, federal, state, and local levels, focusing on the FCC, Congress, the Department of Justice, and other executive agencies. Her experience includes representing private companies, leading advocacy efforts, and advising state public utilities commissions on energy and telecommunications matters.
Lisa has served in leadership positions on several boards and was recently recognized as a 2025 “Women to Watch for Boards”. Ms. Youngers earned her B.A. from the University of Wisconsin. She received her J.D. magna cum laude from William Mitchell College of Law, and a leadership designation from Harvard Business School Executive Education. She is a member of the DC and Minnesota Bars.
