Internet Community to Converge at Open and Neutral Forum Focused on Peering and Interconnection
CAMBRIDGE, MA, USA – February 17, 2015 – The Open-IX Association (OIX), a 501(c)(6) non-profit industry association formed to promote better standards for data center interconnection and Internet exchanges, announces its inaugural Americas Interconnection Summit, taking place April 7-9, 2015 at the Westin San Diego Gaslamp Quarter in San Diego, CA. The three-day conference, supported in part by Founding Platinum Sponsors EdgeConneX and Netflix, is an unprecedented gathering of influential Internet community members that aims to connect industry participants interested in peering and interconnection.
The Americas Interconnection Summit will bring together service providers, content providers and content delivery networks, data center and Internet exchange operators, and related network hardware and software suppliers to discuss current, relevant peering and interconnection industry trends and topics. Attendees will enjoy various networking opportunities through one-on-one and small group meetings, educational panels and presentations, and lunches and cocktail receptions. The event also provides an ideal forum for interacting with industry veterans and thought-leaders in an open and neutral environment.
