With a global mission to empower veterans, EdgeConneX introduced two innovative programs, EdgeConneX Salutes and For Veterans By Veterans, which aim to honor veterans in the workforce and highlight the wealth of opportunities available to veterans and their spouses within the data center industry. These groundbreaking initiatives have been recognized with the Best Diversity & Inclusion Initiative award at the 2023 Global Carrier Awards by Capacity Media. This esteemed accolade honors initiatives that are making a significant impact across the industry. Both our veterans’ initiatives underscore the crucial role that our talented veterans play in the success of EdgeConneX. We are also proud to be working in conjunction with our partner, Salute Mission Critical, an organization instrumental in training and placing veterans into skilled roles within data centers across the globe.
The unique skill set our veterans bring to the table – including critical thinking, adaptability, teamwork, a commitment to excellence, discipline, and precision – is ideally suited to the data center sector. That’s why EdgeConneX seeks out former military personnel, working in unison to provide them with skilled positions and fulfilling careers in data centers worldwide. Consequently, our data centers employ highly competent individuals from the global military community in vital roles such as, engineering, operations, facilities, property management, security, service delivery, solutions architecture, and account management.
Our veterans hail from diverse backgrounds, countries, cultures, and military assignments, and they leverage these distinctive experiences to deliver superior data center and infrastructure services on a global scale. They are all driven by a common goal – to provide outstanding customer service and to construct the data centers of the future with the same military precision they nurtured during their service to their respective countries.
We take immense pride in collaborating with our many skilled veterans and their spouses, who perform vital roles in our ongoing success.
