EdgeConneX is pleased to publish our Green Finance Framework and accompanying Second-Party Opinion. These documents serve to illustrate our commitment that any Green Finance Instruments issued under this Framework are expected to support the financing or refinancing of Eligible Green Assets that are intended to provide clear environmental benefits. EdgeConnex intends to allocate an amount equal to 100% of the green financing net proceeds to a portfolio of Eligible Green investments that meet the eligibility criteria set out in the framework. EdgeConnex also maps the project categories to the United Nations SDGs.

At EdgeConneX, we are committed to undergoing a sustainable transformation by 2030. As part of this strategy, we want to become a carbon neutral datacenter platform by 2030. For EdgeConneX, procurement of products, goods and services makes up a large part of our scope 3 emissions. Almost 50% of our emissions originate from procurement. Sustainable procurement therefore contributes significantly to our “net zero” ambitions.
